Pippy Tallow began at home, with family, intention, and a desire to do things more thoughtfully.

It started with our mom wanting better ingredients for the people she loves. Skincare had become crowded with artificial formulas, endless steps, and quick-fix solutions that didn’t feel aligned with how she wanted to care for herself or her family. Instead of reaching for harsh or invasive options, she looked for something natural, effective, and grounded — skincare that felt both nourishing and timeless.

That search led us to tallow.

Tallow is a traditional, skin-compatible ingredient that closely mirrors the natural fats found in healthy skin. We keep our formulations intentionally simple and whip them slowly to create a light, comforting texture that absorbs beautifully. Every ingredient is chosen with care, and nothing unnecessary makes it into the jar.

At the heart of Pippy Tallow is Pippa — our French bulldog, our inspiration, and the spirit behind the brand. Pippa has a big personality and knows exactly what she wants, yet she also reminds us to slow down and appreciate life’s quieter moments. Whether she’s stretched out by the fire in the winter or calmly supporting travelers as a certified therapy service dog at T.F. Green Airport, Pippa embodies comfort, presence, and ease.
